The other night as I was making some yummy kale with white beans and sausage, this was the view from my window. What you can't see is Lewis snuggled up on the couch. He has taken full advantage of the new screened porch and the cooler temperatures. Combine the two and he is a happy camper.... especially because of that TV!
About the time dinner was finished, we raised the door and although it was cool, the fire made it the perfect temperature!
I was pretty happy too as we ate our dinner with some crusty french bread and a glass of red wine by the fire.

yum! dinner sounds fabulous and I adore your garage-door set-up. love how Minnie Lou is right there saying, "Are you saving me some sausage?"
