Leaving my girl was tough, but she's in great hands with our nanny! I was also excited to get back to work as lots of exciting things have been happening there lately that certainly made going back a little less difficult. I also work with really great people.
I work for the tourism office in Oxford, now called Visit Oxford. We moved to a new office the week before Millie was born, which was a super fun project for this girl who was in major nesting mode! I had two outlets to nest, home and work! Since we were finally settled and all back in the office, we hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate and show off our new space.
Did I mention, we are also expanding Rambling Road? We added another booth! It opened inside the Mustard Seed in Oxford on the same day I started back to work! Luckily we'd stocked up on some great finds while I was on maternity leave and my mom and I did a marathon move-in in record time between 5:00 and 5:30! You can see more about the new booth on the Rambling Road blog. We've got a few other fun things coming up soon.... more on that later!
So after work, has looked a lot like this! These snuggles feel even sweeter these days! We've also taken the stroller for some spins around the neighborhood.
She's gotten big enough to ditch the car seat attachment and "ride like a big girl," as we like to say!
I can't wait for some cooler temperatures around here, when I can assure you we'll be strolling a lot more!
Be back soon with pics of Millie's nursery, our recent laundry room mini-upgrade and some other posts that are in the works!
